Incredible Small Off-Grid Earthship Home
I really love the greenhouse built inside this small earthship home. I like how they use the rainwater and I especially like how he designed the air conditioning by utilizing a draft from below ground . What a great idea.

The earth tubes are a great idea. I didn’t understand how they work in winter to heat the house. I thought the draft was created by warm air rising sucking the cooler air in. In winter there wont be any warm air to create the draft. There must be something I missed. 🙂 Are the bottle walls for anything more than decoration and letting some light in? I didn’t get that.

The plants are very impressive! I bet @Evelina would love this!

The earth is a stable temperature so in comparison to the outside the draft from it warms in the winter and cools in the summer.

#3: Yes, but what creates the draft in winter when there is no hot rising air to suck it in? They didn't mention using fans.

Because the air above the earth is colder then the warmer air coming from below is rising. But I don't know what made it rise in the summer.
