Where I am living right now there is no oven. So, I am not able to try this recipe. I would like to try it with a Gluten Free flour. It is a super easy recipe.
3 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon yeast
1 teaspoon of salt
1 1/2 cup of hot water
Add the dry ingredients in the order listed and stir. Then add the hot water and stir. Put plastic wrap over the bowl and let sit on the countertop for 3 hours or more. The dough will rise and then you put it on a floured surface like a countertop. The dough will be sticky. Work a little flour into the dough until you get a fluffy ball.
Put your dough into a bowl lined with wax paper and cover it with a cloth and let is sit while you pre heat the oven to 450 degrees farhenheit. Have your dutch oven in the oven heating it up while you preheat your oven.
Take out your dutch oven out and put your dough in it. Put it back in the oven for a half an hour and bake. Then remove the lid and bake 15 minutes or so until it has a nice tan color. Take it out and let it sit before cutting into it.
It is that easy!
